What I collect

When you fill in the contact form I collect your name, business name and email address. I also keep anything else you choose to give, such as a phone number, the size of your business, a good time to call and your message. The form also records how you arrived at the site (the referring page and any campaign tags in the link), so I know which pages are useful.

If you email or phone me directly, I keep the details you give me so that I can reply.

When you visit the website, the hosting provider automatically records basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used to keep the site secure and working.

Why I use your information

I use your details only to reply to your enquiry and to deal with any work that follows from it. The lawful basis is my legitimate interest in answering enquiries and, where you go on to become a client, the steps needed to enter into a contract with you.

I do not sell your information, and I do not add you to a mailing list.

Who I share your information with

Form messages are handled by the companies that host this website and deliver its email: Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting, security and storage of form submissions) and SMTP2GO (email delivery). They act on my instructions only. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK, under safeguards approved for international transfers.

I will share information if the law requires me to.

Cookies

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. The cookies page has the detail.

How long I keep your information

I keep enquiries for as long as I need them to deal with your request and any work that follows, and then delete them. Records linked to paid work are kept for as long as the law requires for accounting purposes.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information I hold about you, and to ask me to correct it, delete it, or stop using it. To do so, contact me using the details above.

If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
